Armistice Resources Corp. reports first in-fill drilling results
Mining exploration news: drilling
Toronto, armistice Resources Corp is pleased to report the results of new in-fill definition drilling program completed at the new 2250 in the Project Level McGarry Gold in Virginiatown, Ontario.
Previous definition drilling program at this level to leave the gap between the 600W and 1100W. A total 31new definition fill in the drilled hole during the years 2007 and 2008. Results have been received for the 13 holes drilled on three sections: 600W, 700W and 800W. Intersections new highlights include:
- DDH 22W70-3 0.45 oz / t gold along 3.0 feet long core
- DDH 22W80-3 oz 0.38 / t gold over 2.8 feet long core
- DDH 22W60-4 0.29 oz / t gold over 4.6 feet long core
- DDH 22W70-3 0.28 oz / t gold along 3.8 feet long core
The level of 2250 is the most developed in the mine and also on the level of the recently completed bulk sampling program is done.
As noted in the press on 21 August 2008 which discusses the results of bulk sampling program, the main significance of the diamond drill hole intersection is the identification of gold-bearing zone. The mined grade of the zone can vary from the value of wide spaces, such as drill holes are reported here. This is very small sample represented by the individual drill holes in the gold-bearing zone is marked with large variations in the internal distribution of gold. This observation is typical of many small-layer gold mines including Kerr Addison.
Altogether there are 24 holes (both new and old) in the third. In the 24 holes have at least 38 intercepts 0.10 oz / t gold, including the following highlights from previous drilling:
- DDH 22W70-1 4.26 oz / t gold along 8.5 feet long core
- DDH 22W60-2 0.34 oz / t gold along 7.4 feet long core
No results from the hole in the parts of this is included in the resource estimate included in the NI 43-101 report filed aware on June 17, 2004.
When all assay results are available, including those far from the drilling program, they will be included in the revised NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate. Clearing the security of logging and sampling depth on the exploration and drilling-hole is in progress.
2250 Main level east-west in the footwall drift located about 100 feet south of the target changes to the package that hosts many gold zones in the geological environment very similar to the adjacent former Kerr Addison Mine which produced more than 11 million ounces of gold.
Drill stations at 100 foot interval, which was established in 2250 throughout the drift. From each station a test hole of the gold bearing zones in the north of the changes have been drilled. Hole that is usually dips from 52 degrees (up-hole) to -52 degrees (down-hole) and about 700 feet long, although the actual hole parameters vary, depending on the situation of the local geology and faced in the hole. Intersections are given in the table is the core length and not true widths. In fact the most accurate widths represented by the core length in the hole and may hold up about 60% of core length for steeper hole.
Bor QA program that uses / QC procedure consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practices. Bor is the core and sawn half core samples sent to one of the Swastika Laboratories Ltd. Swastika, Ontario or PolyMet Labs in Cobalt, Ontario for standard fire assaying. Armistice submit duplicate quarter wound about 5% of the sample to the laboratory and the other covers about 5% in the blank sample is sent to the laboratory. In addition, in the laboratory, including its own standard, blank and duplicate as part of their regular QA / QC procedures.
Employment information is reported in this release is supervised by Erik Andersen, P. Eng., Vice President and COO of the cease-fire and a Qualified Person. Mr. Andersen has reviewed and approved this release.
Cease-fire is a Canadian exploration company has McGarry project in North-eastern Ontario located on Lake productive dresser rest. McGarry project, which is advanced exploration underground gold project consisting of 34 contiguous mining claim patents and licenses from the total 484 hectares of employment which adjoins the former Kerr Addison gold mine production.
